Terms of service

Service provider
- Registered address: Greece
By accessing or using Vulnly (the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
Scope and limitations of results
The Service queries third-party vulnerability databases (OSV.dev, deps.dev) which may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. A result indicating “no known vulnerabilities” means solely that no matching record was found in the queried databases at the time of the request. It does not constitute a security certification or audit, a guarantee that the queried package version is free from vulnerabilities, or professional security advice. You are expected to independently verify all results against the linked advisories and apply your own professional judgment before making any security-related decision.
AI advisor
When enabled by watching a rewarded ad, the AI Advisor generates informational suggestions (upgrade paths, alternatives, mitigations, exploitability commentary) using a third-party large language model (“LLM”). In accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act), you are hereby informed that:
- All AI Advisor outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are labeled as such.
- Outputs are informational only and do not constitute security auditing, legal, or professional advice.
- Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated; you must independently verify any suggestion before acting upon it.
- The AI Advisor must not be used to (i) attempt prompt injection or jailbreak the system, (ii) generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or (iii) circumvent the safeguards of the underlying LLM provider.
The Operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Without prejudice to mandatory provisions of Greek law, and in particular Article 332 of the Greek Civil Code and Article 2 of Law 2251/1994 on consumer protection:
- The Operator’s liability is not excluded or limited in cases of willful misconduct (dolus) or gross negligence.
- The Operator’s liability is not excluded or limited for damage to life, body, or health caused by the Operator’s fault.
- Mandatory consumer rights available to you under the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.
Subject to the above, the Operator shall not be liable for any decision made, or omitted, based on results or suggestions provided by the Service, including decisions to upgrade, downgrade, or retain a software dependency.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- perform scraping, bulk automated queries, or reverse-engineer rate-limiting mechanisms;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent the rewarded-ad unlock mechanism for the AI Advisor;
- use the Service in a manner that violates the terms of OSV.dev, deps.dev, the LLM provider, or any other upstream provider;
- attempt prompt injection, jailbreaking, or any manipulation of the AI Advisor to produce unlawful, harmful, or infringing outputs;
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of the rights of third parties.
The Operator reserves the right to block access, apply rate limits, or take other technical or legal measures against users violating these rules.
AI advisor unlock
The AI advisor is unlocked by watching a rewarded ad (30 minutes, up to 5 uses) — free, no purchase or account required.
Intellectual property
All content, software, design, trademarks, and materials on the Service are the property of the Operator or its licensors and are protected by Greek Law 2121/1993 and applicable EU and international copyright law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.
Vulnerability data is retrieved from and remains subject to the terms of OSV.dev and deps.dev. AI-generated outputs are provided to you for your internal use; the Operator makes no ownership claims over such outputs but disclaims all warranties regarding them.
Eligibility
In accordance with Article 21 of Greek Law 4624/2019, you must be at least 15 years old to use the Service. If you are under this age, you may only use the Service with the consent of a holder of parental responsibility.
Changes
The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
